The learning programmes are available to both individual learners and employers who want to develop their people at an organisational level.
Our courses are delivered online and in-person – making for a flexible and cost effective learning option which can fit into a busy schedule.
ALM also has a strong track-record of designing tailored in-house programmes suitable for employers.

Who are ILM and CMI?
ILM is the leadership, management, coaching and mentoring arm of City and Guilds of London. ILM provide regulated award, certificate and diploma qualifications from levels 2 to 7, in both leadership and management and coaching and mentoring.
CMI are a provider of regulated management, leadership, coaching and associated qualifications and the Academy has approval to deliver their programmes level 3, level 5 and level 7.
The Academy of Leadership and Management is an approved ILM and CMI Centre.

BWC Academy – Business workshop programmes
We are delighted to announce that we will be offering four themed workshops for 2024/25 all underpinned with ILM and CMI qualifications.
The workshop sessions will be aligned with ILM and CMI Level 3 and 5 qualifications, so that upon successful completion of the programme participants will receive an ILM or CMI Certificate in Leadership & Management.
Workshops will take place once per month and you will also receive 1-2-1 tuition sessions which will help you to embed the learning and apply the new skills, techniques and applications you have learned in the workplace.

The value of workshop and tutorial sessions coupled with 1-2-1 executive coaching
The focused workshop and tutorial sessions and the 1-2-1 coaching will help the participants to:

We will help them to understand their own personal vision, their personal brand, what kind of leader and/or manager they could be, before progressing to inter-personal leadership, communication, and creative cooperation.

Becoming a professional business coach
Qualification: ILM Level 5 Certificate Effective Coaching & Mentoring
Cost: £2000 + VAT per participant
Attendance method: 3 full day workshop sessions (in person), x3 virtual group supervision sessions, x 3 coaching portfolio review meetings and x 2 virtual 1-2-1 coaching supervision sessions.
Online learning platform (Moodle) and learning management support (email, telephone)
Themes for learning:
· Skills, Principles and practice of effective coaching and mentoring.
· Reviewing your practice as a coach and mentor.
· Practical: Undertaking effective coaching and mentoring (delivering 18 hours of coaching as a coach and mentor for Certificate – 2-3 coachees)

Workshop Overview:
Who should attend: These workshops are tailored for BWC individual members seeking to enhance their leadership and management capabilities.
Format: Each workshop will take place once a month, complemented by personalized 1-2-1 tuition sessions. These sessions will provide additional support to help you apply the skills and techniques learned directly to your workplace.
Certification: Participants will receive an ILM or CMI Certificate in Leadership & Management upon successful completion of the programme.
