Welcome to BWC Glasgow Futures Group
Business Women Connections is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of women in business. With our new initiative, BWC Futures Group, we aim to provide vital support to young women under the age of 25 who are eager to start their own businesses. Recognising that university is not the only path to success, we also engage with 6th-year school pupils who may choose entrepreneurship and seek organisational support.

BWC Futures Group is committed to nurturing the next generation of women leaders and entrepreneurs. We offer a safe platform for 16-25-year-olds to network and grow within a community that shares their values and understands the unique challenges they face.

How It Works
Ambassadors
These BWC Futures group ambassadors will serve as the main point of contact and will host quarterly meetings with their respective groups.
Support
BWC Glasgow (Denise Wond) will assist the Futures Group with event promotions.
Meetings
Bi-monthly meetings run by young entrepreneurs with BWC business support. First date 3rd October 2024.
Membership
Membership is £100 per year. Joining the BWC Futures Group will help support the growth and development of this group.

By September 2025, we aim to have enough funding for Futures Group members to apply for short courses designed to aid their business and personal development.

Annual Scholarship Day
Hosted with our BWC Ambassadors in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, this day is dedicated to learning and skill enhancement. Members can apply for support to upskill and grow their businesses.
Funds raised via sponsorship and membership will support the scholarship day and cover tuition fees for invited coaches.
Futures Launch Event - 3rd October

BWC Glasgow Futures Group is delighted to be hosting its launch event on Thursday 3rd October aka ‘Mean Girls Day’.
Join us at Barclays Campus, Glasgow, 5.30pm - 8.30pm as Ambassadors Katie Trotter and Jacquelyn Walmsley introduce this venture, which is committed to nurturing the next generation of women leaders and entrepreneurs.
Come along to enjoy some nibbles, refreshments and learn from our future generation, you can finish the night with a game of table tennis or pool, Barclays campus has everything to create a fun night
‘On Wednesday’s we wear pink!’ (in this case Thursday)…why don’t you come along wearing something pink to mark the occasion and celebrate ‘Mean Girls Day’ in style.
