Supercharge your Business
A one-day event focused on health, wellbeing, and positive language in the workplace.
๐ 27th February from 9am
๐Arnold Clark Innovation Centre - 701 Dumbarton Rd, Glasgow
Health, wealth, and wellbeing are important for women to achieve the future they want for themselves and their families. We've created an event where you can hear from our list of expert speakers, who will not only share tips and ideas, but also share their own experiences. Today is the first step toward a successful future.
Despite the topics being focused on women, this conference is also open to men. Invite your friends and join us.
We're following up on the successful leadership conference we held at the beginning of October 2022 with a one-day event focused on health, wellbeing, and positive language in the workplace.
Conversations and discussions
What is the relationship between our mental and physical health and our confidence in ourselves, and how does this impact our relationships both within the workplace and with our families and communities?
As women, we are encouraged to take risks, shake off the imposter syndrome, ask for better salaries, and apply for non-executive positions. Is the ability to empower oneself all up to the individual?
Our discussion will focus on the fascinating link between personal confidence, health and wellbeing, as well as the changes needed in society and the workplace to enable women to thrive and stay confident throughout their lives.
Agenda
Morning conversations with invited guest speakers and experts
Topics covered:
Lifting the lid on menopause, maternity
Lifestyle and Health
What types of food should we be eating combined with exercise
How do we shatter stigmas and adapt the workplace?
A woman's career may be constrained by taboo topics such as menstruation, maternity, and menopause. The health of women at all ages can affect their careers, whether it is a newcomer experiencing menstrual discomfort at work, an early career professional breastfeeding, or a company leader experiencing hot flashes.
Newson Health Research and Education found that 59% of women took time off work due to menopause symptoms, with 18% taking more than eight weeks off. In the workplace, women have long fought to be treated equally, but effective practices to accommodate half of the workforce are still needed.
Can the workplace be adapted to help women throughout their life cycle?
Lifestyle and health
Helping women make an essential edit of their diet and lifestyle to thrive during the rollercoaster midlife years.
Approximately a third of a woman's life will be spent after menopause. A regular exercise routine can help you cope with challenging times and improve your mental health at the same time
Afternoon Session
We invited leading women in business and experts to discuss their roles in business and the following topics:
Leadership in a new era
How to make a successful leap to non-executive director
Leading the next generation
Confidence in the workplace
Closing session - conversations with female leaders in business
